Our Founder


Nisha

Founder & Principal Consultant


Nisha is a tourism practitioner, consultant, lecturer and corporate trainer with more than 20 years extensive management experience in the Tourism and Hospitality industry. She holds a Masters in Business Administration, specialising in Hospitality and Tourism Management, by the Nanyang Business School, Singapore. She is at present pursuing her PhD with the Murdoch University (Australia) in the area of Tourism Education and is involved in the writing of research papers in the area of tourism.

She is currently involved in regional consultancy work in the area of tourism and hospitality development in Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Vietnam and Malaysia. She has provided marketing and management consul to destination marketing teams to develop long term strategic plans in light of the global changes and challenges. Nisha has also been engaged in capacity planning and development of tourism workforce to enhance the quality of service provision to emerging tourism markets. She has extensively trained and developed travel intermediaries, tourism boards and hotel employees. As a management consultant to small and medium sized tour companies in Sri Lanka, Nisha is involved in providing strategic management and marketing expertise. Capitalising on her tourism experience and knowledge, she has been invited as a keynote speaker, subject expert and panelist for conferences and talks in Singapore and the region.

In addition to providing client management services to support her customer base, Nisha is involved in the organizing of meetings, incentives, conferences and events (MICE) as well as specialized travel services for her clients. As a corporate trainer, Nisha has trained and coached staff from international, regional and national public and private organisations. In recognition of her work, Nisha was awarded the Outstanding Tourism Trainer 2010 accolade by WDA for delivering high quality training.

Teaching Expertise


In addition to her experience in the corporate world, Nisha is also an academic and lecturer at several educational institutions. Nisha is currently a tourism and hospitality lecturer at Murdoch University, and has previously taught at James Cook University, University of Newcastle, as well as Northumbria University. She has written and published several academic papers and book chapters in the area of her expertise. She is also personally involved in curriculum design and development for topics including:
